THE FIVE-DAY ONLINE FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ON DATA ANALYTICS, SECURITY, PRIVACY AND ITS APPLICATIONS

Mr. R. Ashok Kumar, Head, Department of Computer Science took part in the Five-Day Faculty Development Programme(F.D.P.) on Data Analytics, Security, Privacy and its Applications organized by the Department of Computer Science, College of Arts and Science, Krishna University, Machilipatnam from 11-07-2022 to 15-07-2022. It is opined that in the 21^st Century, data is considered the soil, the oil and the oxygen. Because of the ever growing disruption of technology across fields and a great move towards the digital transformation, huge amount of data is being generated which needs to be analysed, secured and moreover its privacy has to be protected effectively. Especially, COVID-19 has opened the doors wide to the massive shift towards the digitization of entities across the world which gives way for the creation of large amounts of data that needs to be analysed accurately and shielded from being breached and compromised at any cost.
