Tributes to Sri Gurram Jashuva

Paying Tributes to Sri Gurram Jashuva, the Telugu Legendary Poet of the Modern Times On 23-07-2022, the Department of Telugu paid homage to Sri Gurram Jashuva, the Chief Exponent of the Modern Telugu Poetry who influenced the Telugu public with his versatile poetic skills. Speakig on the occasion, Dr. P. Srinivasarao, Principal, said that he used the weapon of poetry to wage a war against the fundamentalists and orthodox people who led the life of superstitions. The vice-Principal, Sri N.J.K. Narendra Kumar, felt that he won numerous laurels from those who loathed him in the past. Dr. G. Srinivas, Head, Department of Telugu, lauded that he was the emancipator of the dalits who rose to heights with his expertise. Dr. B. Saraswathi, Lecturer in Telugu, other members of staff and students took part in the event.
