A solid tribute was paid to Sri Sri on 30-04-2022 at Chintalapudi Government Degree College under the auspices of the Telugu Department. On this occasion, the College principal Dr. P Srinivasa Rao lauded the great poet Sri Sri for bringing the fragrance of Telugu literature, which shines only in the royal streets, scholarly forums and palaces, to the common man, to the dirt streets.

The Chief Guest Dr. K Srinivasa Rao from Government Degree College Bhimavaram spoke about the hardships of the common man in Telugu literature and how he was the first poet to write a poem reflecting the lives of the poor. Guest of Honor Advocate, M Rameshwar Kumar spoke about the collection of poems 'Mahaprasthanam' published in 1950 remained immortal not only in the minds of Telugu literary fans but also in the hearts of the common people and that is why he became a great poet. Dr. Syed Mir Hassim, Director, IQAC Coordinator of the College said that the scene is a home to the arts and if you bring out the arts in you, you will get a special place.
